8½ (1963)

Federico Fellini was an Italian film director well known for his distinguished creative talents and is considered one of the most influential filmmakers of the 20th century. Fellini's films are unique combination of dreams, fantasy and desire. Many of the contemporary film makers have cited Fellini's influence on their work. His films were nominated as well as won many times Oscar awards including Best Foreign Language Film.
" " is a simplest films of all time and masterpiece work from Fellini which deals with the creative struggles of a filmmaker who is under pressure, tries to produces something which he has not yet given. It is very surrealistic and reflects struggles of Fellini itself. Cinematography is very beautiful and each scenes are well shot. A well done art work which requires careful attention and more viewing perhaps to enjoy the beauty of the movie.

La Dolce Vita (1960)

"La Dolce Vita" is a beautiful art work from Fellini, which should be appreciated very much for its cinematography, direction, acting performances, and music. Story is about a journalist's week in Rome, who is in search of both happiness and love. It is considered one of the great achievements in world cinema. Marcello Mastroianni and Anita Ekberg gives their best performances. Cinematography and Music are remarkable. This is the film that gave the term 'paparazzi'  from the character Paparazzo in this film. Truly an everlasting art work of Fellini and is worth watching.

Nights of Cabiria (1957)

"Nights of Cabiria" tells the story of a prostitute living in a poor place of Rome, her life, her days and nights. Fellini's wife Giulietta Masina plays Maria Cabiria the prostitute in the film and is one of the greatest performances of all time. Again cinematography and music are exceptional. Fellini's way of film making is distinct, the way he mix the realism and dreams are convincing. One of the best movies ever made, and it is touching and warming, a true masterpiece.

"I'm just a storyteller, and the cinema happens to be my medium. I like it because it recreates life in movement, enlarges it, enhances it, distills it. For me, it's far closer to the miraculous creation of life than, say, a painting or music or even literature. It's not just an art form; it's actually a new form of life, with its own rhythms, cadences, perspectives and transparencies. It's my way of telling a story". -Federico Fellini-
